I worked with a 12 year old beautiful girl who weighed 230lbs, she came to me with the goals to live a healthier lifestyle and have the chance to wear medium shirts. Then begin with the goals of either strength exercises, plyometrics, aerobic, etcĪlways end with a cool down and discuss next sessions goals and expectations. Meet and greet (always begin with a positive attitude)įirst, evaluate how the body is feeling at the present moment, discuss that day's goalīegin with a warm-up (dynamic, stretch, etc) 5-7 minsĮnter into bodyweight movements to further the range of motion Always trust yourself first then trust the process. Staying healthy is a lifestyle, and being confident in your own skin is very important. I also believe in positive self-talk and confidence. I always remind myself, we could have everything in the world but if you do not have your health nothing else matters. Surrounding my life with fitness and individuals who have the same mindset has allowed me to keep myself accountable and happy. Now, my sister and I own Daily Fitness, located in Mooresville, NC. This career was not enough for me, so I began coaching and then entered the personal training world. After playing collegiate volleyball, I decided to continue my love for healthy living and physical fitness by becoming a Health and Physical Education teacher. Competing in sports created a lifestyle of healthy living for me at a very young age. Coming from a competitive background, fitness has always been a priority in my life.
